On the first „real“ holi-day I relaxed, read books and listened to music. It was totally nice and I needed it.
Am ersten „richtigen“ Ferientag habe ich einfach gechilled, Bücher gelesen und Musik gehört. Es war sehr schön und ich habe es auch gebraucht.
Vi besøgte min mormor og min morfar i dag.
We visited my grandma and my grandpa today. There we played the game vildkatten and I wan the game. We spended the afternoon and the evening there.
Wir haben heute meine Großeltern besucht. Dort haben wir das Spiel Vildkatten gespielt und ich habe gewonnen. Wir waren den Nachmittag und den Abend da verbracht.
Vi kører til vores sommerhus i dag. Vi kører tre timer med bilen. Sommerhuset er meget flot.
We were going to our sommerhouse today. It takes three ours with the car. The house is pretty cool.
Wir sind heute zu unserem Sommerhaus gefahren. Das hat drei Stunden gedauert. Das Haus ist ziemlich cool.
Today was our last day before the holidays. We had a kind of sportsday. So we were parted in teams and than we had to do some sport-tasks. Our team broke two times a record. It was not the best day, but it was okay and also a little bit funny.
Heute war unser letzter Schultag vor den Ferien. Es war so eine Art Sporttag. Wir wurden in Teams aufgeteilt und mussten dann ein paar Aufgaben lösen. Mein Team hat zwei mal den Rekord gebrochen. Es war für mich nicht der beste Tag, aber es war okay und auch ein bisschen lustig.
Brunsviger is the national cake from Fyn. And today we celebrate the cake. In many bakeries the cake is cheaper today. After school I was cycling 10km to a Brunsviger-Party. It takes place in the house where the radio is. We couldn’t only eat as much cake and icecream as we can, we could also look in the studios and see how the radio broadcast is made. It was tasty and interesting. By the way I was also giving an interview and was life on radio broadcoast.
Brunsviger ist das Nationalgebäck von Fyn. Heute ist der Tag des Brunsviger. In vielen Bäckereien ist er heute reduziert. Nach der Schule bin ich 10km zu einer Brunsviger-Party gefahren. Sie fand in dem Haus statt, in dem auch die Radiosendungen für DR aufgenommen werden. Wir konnten nicht nur so viel Kuchen und Eis essen, wie wir wollten, wir konnten auch in die Studios schauen und lernen, wir die Radiosendungen entstehen. Es war sehr lecker und interessant. So ganz nebenbei hab ich auch noch ein Interview gegeben und war dabei live auf Sendung…
After the choir I was cycling home. There was lying a cat on the street. I thought that it is a little bit dangerous for the cat. Then I saw a crow on the other side of the street. It crowed at the cat. It looks like the crow wants to warn the cat, but it was afraid of going on the street by its self. It was really funny…
Heute bin ich nach dem Chor mit dem Fahrrad nach Hause gefahren. Da lag eine Katze auf der Straße. Ich dachte so für mich, dass es etwas gefährlich für die Katze ist. Aber dann sah ich eine Krähe auf der anderen Straßenseite. Sie krähte zu der Katze. Es sah so aus, als wollte die Krähe die Katze warnen, aber sie hatte Angst selber auf die Straße zu gehen. Es war sehr lustig…
We are talking sometimes about the Danes as lukkiest people of the world. But the people here don’t understand why. They say, that they know it, but they don’t feel it. I think for them it is normal and they have no other way to live. But in my family we laugh a lot and there are not that much sad times. But it is not that different from home. Maybe a little bit. But that could also be just me, because I’m new and the family behaves a little bit different. I think that what Danes call ‚hygge‘ is the most comfortable and nice part here. I won’t miss all things, which are hyggelig.
Manchmal reden wir über die Dänen als glücklichstes Volk der Welt. Aber die Menschen hier verstehen gar nicht warum. Sie sagen, dass sie zwar wissen, dass sie als glücklich gelten, es aber gar nicht so wahrnehmen. Ich denke, dass es für sie einfach normal ist und sie nur ihren Weg zu leben kennen. In meiner Familie lachen wir viel und haben nur wenige schlechte Zeiten. Aber das ist nicht so viel anders als zu Hause. Vielleicht ein kleines bisschen. Aber das kann auch wegen mir sein. Ich bin relativ neu und dadurch verhält sich eine Familie auch anders. Ich glaube, dass das, was die Dänen „hygge“ nennen der glücklichste und gemütlichste Teil ist. Ich möchte nichts verpassen, was hyggelig ist.
Yesterday we were going to a bakery in the afternoon. It was really tasty.
For breakfast I’m eating muesli. Normaly it is just oat. At lunch I’m eating cold. That is normaly bread or salat. And we are eating warm for dinner. That is normal in Danmark. In my family we are eating fish on monday. On Friday we are always eating Pizza.
Gestern waren wir am Nachmittag noch in einer Konditorei. Es war sehr lecker.
Normalerweise esse ich zum Frühstück Müsli. Meistens ist es einfach nur Hafer. Zum Mittag gibt es kalt. Das ist Brot oder Salat. Das nehme ich mir mit in die Schule. Und zum Abendessen essen wir kalt. Das ist normal in Dänemark. In meiner Familie gibt es jeden Montag Fisch. Und freitags essen wir immer Pizza.
An Exchange student invited me to her birthday. Yesterday I was going to her. We eat cake and pizza and cut pumpkins for halloween. Then we slept at her home. Today we met all exchange students from Fyn.
Eine andere ATS hat mich zu ihrem Geburtstag eingeladen. Gestern bin ich zu ihr gefahren. Wir aßen Kuchen und Pizza und bereiteten Kürbis-Laternen für Halloween vor. Wir haben auch bei ihr übernachtet. Heute haben wir dann alle ATS von Fyn getroffen und Bowling gespielt.
