I went to school today,  because we had biology. That was also our only subject today. We tested our blood sugar. Because we had only one lesson I and my friends decided to stay in a shopping center til we could go in the cinema in the afternoon. We saw the movie ‚Alladin‘ with real people. It is a nice Disney-movie.

I had free today. In the afternoon I went to my danish lesson. My big brother had a exam today and got a good grade. That’s the reason why we had cake after dinner. Eating cake and talking was ‚hyggeligt‘.

I had a conversation with one of our teachers today. We talked about the close ending of the exchange year and how it was to be in this school.

I am not really in the mood to write something, but I guess I have to, because I will be not satisfied if I just go to bed.

So the last two and a half days I had the re-entry seminar with YFU. I met all the exchange students from Denmark again. We had some sessions and two workshops. Yesterday evening we got our certification for beeing an exchange student. After it we had a big party with drinks, snacks, music and a lot of dancing. We will see each other one more time on our last day in Denmark. But we don’t see all the volunteers again and this is really sad, because they are also a part of our YFU-family. It is like seeing the siblings again but not the parents. So we said goodbye to them today.

Today I went downtown to demonstrate for the climate. It was a little bit different to last time. Today we had a stage and some people with costumes (icebear, penguin, etc.) And on one side there was a model of the statue of liberty. After the demonstration I bought a notesbook. In this notesbook my friends can write something about the exchange year. At 6 o’clock I am going to Tommerup, where our Re-entry seminar takes place. I will be back on sunday. That means, that I am not writing here tomorrow.

DHO is the short for dansk-historie-opgave. That means a danish-history-task. It is an exam, where you have to analyse a time in the danish history. You have to use some historic sources and some poems or something similar in danish. Then you’re writing five days and you have to talk with a teacher. My classmates are writing this task til Tuesday. I can’t do it and so I have free.

Today was our last drama and our last maths lesson. We have only 4 more schooldays. After these 5 days are holidays. My summer holiday will be very long this year.

We are reading texts from 1780-1850 in Danish lesson at the moment. That is really difficult for me. Today we had a group task, but my group wasn’t working. So I did a lot of the work. I hope our results are good enough.

I am lying in the garden right now. It is warm and a soft wind is blowing. For dinner we had lasagne. Aftes dinner I cleaned up in the kitchen. Now I have nothing to do and the rest of my family is busy. Today I had Danish, biology and German. In biology we are making a poster about our digestive system. I love this task.

Today in 5 weeks I am already in Berlin for the YES camp of YFU. Berlin will be the last week of my exchange. In this last 5 week I will visit friends in Sønderborg og Vejle. Next weekend is the Re-entry seminar with YFU. And next week I will invite my friends from my class for a dinner or something like that. The rest of the time I will spend with my family.

My father’s birthday is tomorrow.  Usually we eat in a restaurant to a birthday, but my father is in Copenhagen tomorrow, so we were in the town today.  He wanted to cycle to the restaurant. So we cycled 10 km in 1,5 hours(!!!). That is a little bit too long for 10 km, but I had a very nice conversation with my sister. We talked the whole time.
